Various comments have been made when the 4-episode pre-fight presentation of HBO to the highly anticipated Light Welter Weight showdown against Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton on May 2, 2009 at the MGM Grand at Las Vegas was released. The first two of the four episodes have already been out.

The first episode was clearly a showcase of the reigning pound-for-pound king Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao. There they showed his endeavors in his way towards his success. It also showed the other side/s of Pacquiao. Also one of the features of the first installation of the pre-fight HBO presentation was the passion of his coach Fredie Roach in accompanying the fellow Filipino into his success. In this episode many have commented that Manny Pacquiao will be able to beat Hatton.

The second episode was on the other hand an episode for the other contender, Ricky “Hitman” Hatton. There they also showed his perseverance in preparing for this big fight that might make him realize all of the words he have said before about Manny Pacquiao’s wrong sense of achievement as he puts on the line his title as the world welter weight champion. This episode on the other hand has incurred various negative criticisms to both Ricky Hatton and his trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr.

Episode 3 will be released on April 25, 2009 and probably episode 4 will be out on the very Saturday of the fight night (May 2, 2009) and thus in totality, this presentation will be a great appetizer to the fast approaching and highly anticipated showdown of the Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton.
