After the release of episodes 1 and 2 of the pre-fight presentation of HBO-24/7 Pacquiao-Hatton, the 3rd episode of the 4-episode presentation of HBO was released last April 25, 2009 (Saturday).
While episode 1 was a show of Manny Pacquiao’s road to stardom and success, as well as the other unseen sides of the pound-for-pound king and episode 2 was a show of how Ricky Hatton earned his pride as the Hitman, episode 3 was full of comparisons and contrast about the two destined foes-to be on May 02, 2009 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Episode 3 featured the difference of the training intensity of both Pacquiao and Hatton. It also ventured the comparison of their sparring sessions as well as the exchange of spicy words by their trainers (Freddie Roach for Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Sr. for Hatton). It also showed some of the arrival of Manny’s mother to United States to see her son in action for the very first time. On Hatton’s side on the other hand, they (HBO) showed his family and stated there how Hatton and his one brother have forsaken their family line in the field of football for the sake of boxing.
The said sequel episode to the first two was yet again a great appetizer for the upcoming battle of the east and the west. However, negative reactions have been given by the viewers because the said presentation was cut short in the end leaving the viewers hanging. Because of this, we are sure to expect that the concluding episode of this prefight presentation will be a great one, or else, HBO will be rained with negative verdicts from the people.
