The Filipino pride Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao was once again successful in his recent match against the African Joshua “The Grand Master” Clottey as they showcased a classic fight last March 13, 2010 at the Cowboy Stadium at Texas. The fight was for the World Boxing Organization Welterweight Belt of the Filipino. Clottey, who was impressive in terms of his defense lost via unanimous decision.

As the fight starts, Manny Pacquaio already began to establish his presence into the ring by throwing power punches at his opponent Joshua Clottey. Joshua Clottey however managed to deflect these bombs using his familiar peak-a-boo style (also termed as turtle guard or high guard). Because of this tight defense, the Pacman tried to focus on hitting the body of Clottey and was doing very god until the end of the fight. Pacquiao managed to connect one right straight in the first round that staggered Clottey a bit.
