As the fight night (The Hatton-Pacquaio Fight scheduled on May 02, 2009) is fast approaching, various predictions are being made by each side of the fighters. Hatton made a very cocky prediction of knocking Pacquaio out inside three rounds.
The IBO junior welterweight champion from Manchester said that Pacquaio’s victories over David Diaz and Oscar dela Hoya has given the pound-for-pound king false sense of achievement. He also said that Pacquaio will also get into another dangerous fight second to that of his fight with Marquez who sees himself as the toughest opponent ever for Pacquaio. These words will surely show the confidence of the acclaimed Hitman. On the other hand, Pacman’s coach, Freddie Roach has said that Pacman will be able to knock Hitman inside of three rounds thus showing again his confidence to the ability of Pacman.
Hitman said that he is still at his prime at 140 lbs. and that it takes a good fighter to beat him up. Well, by facing the Pacman, he might have the chance to finally meet the guy he is looking for. This will be sure a very good match. It will make history when the East finally meets the West!
